In today's fast-paced digital landscape, ensuring seamless communication within a team is not just a convenience—it's a necessity. If your organisation relies on Microsoft Teams for collaboration and has a dedicated company page for updates, your team needs timely notifications about new posts.
But who wants to inform everyone manually each time? Enter Make.com (formerly Integromat). This automation tool makes bridging the gap between your company page and Microsoft Teams effortless. In this guide, we'll walk you through setting up an automated alert system, ensuring that your Microsoft Teams Channel is the first to know every time there's fresh content on your company page. Ready to enhance your workflow? Let's dive in.
Why not use Power Automate?
- At the time of writing this there is no Facebook Connector for Power Automate so it's not possible without some level of custom connector/code. It's been deprecated as posted here.
- Compared to Microsoft Power Automate, Make offers deeper integration capabilities and over 1,000+ app connectors (outside of the Microsoft 365 eco-system). It's better suited for complex, multi-step automation's involving many services.
- Make also gives you 1000 operations for FREE, this means you can alert your Team 500 times (as each scenario will use 2 operations).
In this guide, we'll use Make to automatically watch for new posts on a Facebook page and share them in real time to a Microsoft Teams channel.
