Customizing Teams for specific needs can make collaboration more efficient and effective for your team. In this lesson, we'll go over the steps to customize your Teams interface and features to better suit the needs of Collab365 Healthcare.

I. Theme and Logo

Customizing the theme and logo of your Microsoft Teams app allows you to personalize your experience and make it visually appealing. The theme controls the colour scheme and appearance of the app, while the logo is the image displayed at the top left of the app. This customization makes identifying and navigating to the correct Team or Channel easier.

To customize the theme and logo:

1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Teams app.
2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. In the "General" tab, scroll down to the "Theme" section.
4. Choose a pre-existing theme or create a custom one.
5. To add a logo, select "Upload picture" under the "Logo" section.
6. Choose a file from your device or OneDrive and click "Save" to apply the changes.

II. Tabs

Tabs allow you to integrate external applications and services into your Teams channel for easy access and collaboration. This customization can help streamline workflows and reduce the need to switch between different applications.

To customize the tabs:

1. Go to the Team and Channel you want to customize.
2. Click on the "+" icon next to the existing tabs.
3. Choose from the available options or select "More apps" to browse for additional apps.

5. Click "Save" to add the app as a new tab.
